Our vineyards

Each vineyard has its own uniqueness, a special place where the extraordinariness of each label is born.

28 hectares of vineyards

It is Luigi Boveri who oversees all stages of wine production, from vineyard care to cellar practices to bottling. Our farm in total consists of 28 hectares. The farm fund is not a single body but the land is divided between Costa Vescovato and neighboring municipalities: 18 hectares are red berry and 10 are white berry.

  • Barbera, Croatina, Bonarda are produced in the 18 hectares of red grapes. This soil is about 70 percent calcareous clay and 30 percent calcareous marl. Some of the wines we make from these grapes are named after the vineyards: Boccanera, Casassa, Poggio delle Amarene.
  • Timorasso and Cortese are produced in the 10 hectares of white grapes, and with the latest vineyard planted Moscato. For the white grape vines we have 80% calcareous marly and 20% calcareous clayey soils.

Our company exports 50 percent of its wines abroad. The main market is the Netherlands, but we are also present in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, the United States, Greece, and Estonia. The remaining 50 percent remain in Italy, Where we are distributed throughout the country

Wine is made in the vineyard. When the grapes arrive at the winery healthy, we just have to be good at not spoiling them
